1. iBez Consulting Ltd provides the Handy Jacks website. We are a company registered in Nigeria (registration number RC887939) and our registered office is at 5 – 7 McCarthy Street, Onikan, Lagos, Nigeria.
2. We legally own a wide range of intellectual property rights used in and relating to this website, including:
a. each of the Handy Jacks Nigeria / Handy Jacks The Repair and Maintenance People and related
b. the tradespeople and technicians database ('the database') which you can get access to using this
c. the design, text, graphics, articles, blogs and other content of the web pages on this website, logos; website; together with all the web addresses associated with those web pages, other than those which we use under licence;
d. in all the software used in relation to this website, other than that which we use under licence.
3. Handy Jacks Nigeria also holds information supplied by other organisations.

4. For the purpose of these conditions, the term 'website' refers to www.handy-jacks.com, www.handyjacks.com.ng, the database on Handy Jacks Nigeria and any other websites we may own or run from time to time that links through to these conditions.
5. If you log on to or use any part of the website you agree to these conditions. If you do not want to agree to these conditions, do not log on to or use this website.
6. We may change these conditions at any time without giving you notice. Please check these conditions from time to time for any changes. By continuing to use the website you agree to all the changes we make to these conditions.

7. Handy Jacks Nigeria allows you to search for tradespeople and technicians (artisans) and to contact these tradespeople and technicians or organisations listed. You are allowed to use the website and the results of any search you carry out on the website for this purpose unless this is not allowed under paragraph 10 of these conditions.
8. We may limit your access to some parts of the website depending on whether you have registered with us. Please do not tell other people your log in, password or any other piece of information that is part of our security procedures. We take steps to prevent people misusing the website and to make sure that our rights are not affected.
9. We process information about you in line with our Privacy Policy. By using the website, you agree to the way in which we process your personal information.
10. All tradespeople and technicians found on our website will be vetted and trained to ensure that they are who they say they are and can provide an acceptable quality of work. However, we urge you to carry out due diligence and thoroughly inspect any work done before parting with your money. Also never leave a tradesperson or technician (artisan unsupervised in your property).
11. You negotiate the labour and part charges directly with the tradesperson or technician, please ensure the work rendered is of an acceptable standard before you part with your cash.
12. If there are any disputes with the quality of work rendered, please do not pay the tradespeople or technician but call us immediately to intercede. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure the issue is satisfactorily resolved.
13. Tradespeople or Technicians (artisans) may take before and after pictures of the problem that you have asked them to fix or the parts you have asked them to replace.
14. Where property is damaged by one of our in-house tradespeople or technicians, a full investigation will take place, if the tradesperson or technician is found culpable and a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached amongst us then the matter will be referred to our insurers.
15. The mandatory call out charge cannot be refunded at any time.
16. By using tradespeople and technicians found on our system, you agree not to circumvent or by-pass us by engaging the tradespeople and technicians directly for future work. If you do, you are liable to persecution for loss of business.
17. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure any work carried out by our in-house tradespeople or technicians are of an acceptable standard and quality.
18. You cannot use the website:
a. for any unlawful purpose;
b. to harm, threaten, abuse or harass another person, or in a way that invades someone's privacy or
c. to leave malicious reviews or ratings against ant tradesperson or technician;
d. to create, check, confirm, update or amend your own or someone else's databases, records,
e. to provide any kind of commercial information service;
f. as a source of material or contact data for any kind of marketing activity;
g. to tamper with, update or change any part of the website;
h. in a way that affects how it is run;
i. in a way that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionably large burden on IBez Consulting Ltd
j. using any automated means to monitor or copy the website or its content, or to interfere with or is (in our reasonable opinion) offensive or is unacceptable or damaging to Handy Jacks Nigeria or companies within the iBez Consulting Ltd Group; directories, customer lists, mailing or prospecting lists; and Handy Jacks Nigeria's communications and technical systems as determined by us; or attempt to interfere with how the website works.
19. You must not artificially increase the number of click counts or click-throughs for any advertisement or advertiser, including by:
a. any manual means (such as repeatedly clicking on adverts or refreshing pages);
b. any automated means (such as computer-generated search requests or similar devices); or
c. asking someone to carry out these activities (including by offering any benefit or incentive).
20. We have the right to investigate your online activities for 'click-fraud' or any similar activity. You agree to provide reasonable help with these matters.

We do not control, and are not responsible for, any other websites made available from or through the website. We do not give any uarantees about their content or how they work. You access and use these sites at your own risk and will need to keep to any conditions of use that apply to those sites. We do not approve or sponsor any products, services or content you access or buy through these websites.
29. As far as the relevant laws allow, neither we nor any other members of our group of companies, shareholders, officers, shareholders, staff or other organisations connected to us (collectively, 'iBez Consulting Ltd and Handy Jacks Nigeria Personnel') give you any guarantees that:
a. there will be no problems with how you use the website; or
b. the computer or server you use to log on to the website is free of viruses or other harmful programmes.
Limits to our liability
30. There is no limit to what we and the people who provide our services will be liable for if someone dies or is injured because of something we have or have not done or because we have committed fraud.
31. Under no circumstances will the Handy Jacks Nigeria Personnel or any other organisation involved in creating, producing, maintaining or distributing the website be liable for any loss of:
a. profits;
b. business or business opportunities;
c. savings you expect to make;
d. goodwill;
e. use of corrupted information; or
f. information.
32. If we do not keep to these conditions, we will only be liable for losses you have suffered as a direct result. We are not liable to you for any other loss whether they are because we have not kept to our obligations or contract, because of something we have not done, due to defamatory statements or liability for a product or otherwise as a result of:

c. any mistake, fault, failure to do something, missing information, or virus on the website or if it

The whole agreement

The law
34. The laws of Nigeria apply to your use of the website and these conditions. We control the website from within Nigeria. However, you can get access to the website from other places around the world. Although these places may have different laws from the laws of Nigeria, by using the website you agree that the laws of Nigeria will apply to everything relating to you using the website and you agree to keep to these laws. We have the right to take you to court in the country you live in.
